CX3CR1 CHO-K1 β-Arrestin GPCR Assay Kit

Cat.No. : Kit-1187
Product Overview : β-Arrestin GPCR cells are engineered to co-the ProLink (PK) tagged GPCR and the Enzyme Acceptor (EA) tagged β-Arrestin. Activation of the GPCR-PK induces β-Arrestin-EA recruitment, forcing complementation of the two β-galactosidase enzyme fragments (EA and PK). The resulting functional enzyme hydrolyzes substrate to generate a chemiluminescent signal. These cells have been modified to prevent long term propagation and expansion using a proprietary compound that has no apparent effect on assay performance.

CX3CR1 is predominantly expressed in certain immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and certain subsets of T cells.

How does CX3CR1 influence the balance between immune tolerance and inflammation? 04/04/2018

CX3CR1 plays a role in influencing the balance between immune tolerance and inflammation through its impact on immune cell function.

What diseases or conditions are associated with dysregulation or abnormal expression of CX3CR1? 11/16/2017

Dysregulation or abnormal expression of CX3CR1 is associated with conditions such as atherosclerosis, neuroinflammatory disorders, and certain cancers.

Are there specific chemokines that bind to CX3CR1, and what is their role in immune modulation? 12/04/2016

The ligand for CX3CR1, fractalkine (CX3CL1), is involved in immune modulation, influencing cell adhesion and migration.

What is the primary function of C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) in the immune system? 10/19/2016

C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) primarily functions in the immune system, playing a role in immune responses and cell migration.
