CX3CR1 CHO-K1 β-Arrestin GPCR Assay Kit
Cat.No. : | Kit-1187 |
Product Overview : | β-Arrestin GPCR cells are engineered to co-the ProLink (PK) tagged GPCR and the Enzyme Acceptor (EA) tagged β-Arrestin. Activation of the GPCR-PK induces β-Arrestin-EA recruitment, forcing complementation of the two β-galactosidase enzyme fragments (EA and PK). The resulting functional enzyme hydrolyzes substrate to generate a chemiluminescent signal. These cells have been modified to prevent long term propagation and expansion using a proprietary compound that has no apparent effect on assay performance. |

Q&As (7)
Ask a questionThere are potential therapeutic implications related to CX3CR1 in immune-related disorders, making it a target of interest for drug development.
CX3CR1 contributes to the regulation of immune responses and cell migration by responding to its ligand, fractalkine (CX3CL1).
CX3CR1 is predominantly expressed in certain immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and certain subsets of T cells.
CX3CR1 plays a role in influencing the balance between immune tolerance and inflammation through its impact on immune cell function.
Dysregulation or abnormal expression of CX3CR1 is associated with conditions such as atherosclerosis, neuroinflammatory disorders, and certain cancers.
The ligand for CX3CR1, fractalkine (CX3CL1), is involved in immune modulation, influencing cell adhesion and migration.
C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) primarily functions in the immune system, playing a role in immune responses and cell migration.
