Native Human Myeloperoxidase protein
Native Human Myeloperoxidase was purified from Human Neutrophil.
This heme protein catalyzes oxidations by hydrogen peroxide, including MPO- chloride mediated killing of microbes and tumor cells, inactivation of hemotactic factors, crosslinking of proteins and inclination of proteins.
Lyophilized from 50 mM Na acetate, pH 6.0 with 100 mM NaCl
180-220 units per mg protein after lyophilization. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that decomposes one umole of hydrogen peroxide per minute at 25 centigrade, pH 6.0. Reaction mixture contains 30mM sodium phosphate, pH 6.1, 30mM guaiacol, and 0.0012% (0.35mM) hydrogen peroxide.
>=95% by SDS-PAGE
Prepared from whole blood shown to be non reactive for HBsAg, anti-HCV, anti- HBc, and negative for anti-HIV 1 & 2 by FDA approved tests.
Store at -20 centigrade
