Recombinant extracellular domain (Met 1-Gln 530) of the influenza A H5N1 hemagglutinin (A/Egypt/N05056/2009 (H5N1)) (ACT15357.1) (HA1+HA2, uncleaved, cleavage site mutated (RRRKKR-TETR) was expressed, fused with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.

Measured by its ability to agglutinate human red blood cells. HA titer is 4-20 μg/mL for 1% HRBC.
The secreted recombinant influenza A H5N1 HA (A/Egypt/N05056/2009 (H5N1)) comprises 523 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 59.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 65 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Store it under sterile conditions at -20ºC~-70ºC. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
