Description : | Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a heme protein synthesized during myeloid differentiation that constitutes the major component of neutrophil azurophilic granules. Produced as a single chain precursor, myeloperoxidase is subsequently cleaved into a light and heavy chain. The mature myeloperoxidase is a tetramer composed of 2 light chains and 2 heavy chains. This enzyme produces hypohalous acids central to the microbicidal activity of neutrophils. |
Source : | E. coli |
Species : | Human |
Tag : | His |
Form : | Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : | 16kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions. |
Protein length : | Val165~Gly278 |
Endotoxin : | <1.0EU per 1µg (determined by the LAL method) |

Characteristic : | The isoelectric point is 6.4. |
Applications : | SDS-PAGE; WB; ELISA; IP; CoIP; Reporter Assays; Purification; Amine Reactive Labeling |
Stability : | The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |
