Recombinant Human PNMT fused with GST tag at N-terminal was expressed in Insect cells.
Phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase (PNMT) catalyzes the biosynthesis of adrenaline though methylation of phenylethanolamine. PNMT gene is reported to be involved in various human diseases including early-onset Alzheimer disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. Expression of PNMT can be stimulated by nicotine.
50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
