Measured in antiviral assays using L929 cells infected with vesicular stomatitisvirus (VSV). The ED50 for this effect is 1-10 μg/mL.
The recombinant rat IFNA1/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 410 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 46.4 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the rat IFNA1/Fc monomer is approximately 50 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Store it under sterile conditions at -20ºC~-70ºC. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
