Description : | Cross-linked Allophycocyanin (XL-APC) is the brightest and most stable form of APC available. The αβ subunits of the APC have been crosslinked in order to provide increased structural integrity in the presence of chaotropic salts. |
Form : | Supplied in 100 mM sodium phosphate buffer pH7.0 with 60% ammonium sulfate, 1mM EDTA, and 1mM sodium azide. |
Molecular Mass : | 105 kDa |
Purity : | A650/A280 ≥ 5.0 A650/A620 ≥ 1.5 Cross-link ratio ≥ 1.2 |
Notes : | XL-APC is stored in ammonium sulfate solution. Therefore, XL-APC needs to be re-suspended until no visible precipitates. Firstly, it must be extensively dialyzed prior to use or column to remove any remaining ammonium sulfate. Use PBS or your conjugation buffer (1 ml of XL-APC to 1 liter of buffer) to dialyze at least two changes of buffer. |
Stability : | 2 years under proper storage conditions. |
Storage : | Store at 4 centigrade, away from light. Do not freeze. For research or further manufacturing use only. |
Concentration : | ≧15 mg/ml |
