Biological Activity

Determined by thedose-dependent induction of ACHE (acetylcholine esterase) in rat basalforebrain primary septal culture. The ED5O is 50 ng/ml.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 pg/ml. Aftercomplete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to otheraqueous solutions.

Storage

Store lyophilizedprotein at -20^oC to -80^oC. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at2-4^oC. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20^oC to -80^oC with acarrier protein (0.1%HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the additionof any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. Thisdepends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thawcycles.
