Description : Ccl20, also known asMIP3α, LARC (Liver and Activationregulated Chemokine) and as Exodus, is oneof many novel β chemokines identified through bioinformatics. Rat Ccl20 cDNAencodes a 96 amino acid (aa) precursor protein with a 25 aa putative signalpeptide that is predicted to be cleaved to form the 71 aa mature secretedprotein.
Source : E. coli
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA with BSA as a carrierprotein.
N-terminal Sequence : Ala26
Molecular Weight : 8.2 kDa
Activity : Measured by itsability to chemoattract human CCR6 transfected BaF3 mouse pro-B cells. The ED50for this effect is typically 0.5-3 μg/mL.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 200μg/mL in sterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serumalbumin.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month,2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions afterreconstitution.
