Antigen Description : | IL-5 is a homodimeric, disulphide-linked protein produced by T-cells. Monomeric human IL-5 is a 126 amino acid protein with a reported molecular weight of 26 kD for the homodimeric protein. Mouse and human IL-5 are approximately 70% identical. IL-5 has been shown to promote the growth of immature hematopoietic BFU-E progenitors, stimulate the activation and differentiation of eosinophils, and promote the generation of cytotoxic lymphocytes. TheKFT2-40E20antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-5. |
Target : | IL5 |
Immunogen : | COS-expressed, recombinant human IL-5 |

Preparation : | The LEAF (Low Endotoxin, Azide-Free) antibody was Purified by affinity chromatography. |
Usage recommendation : | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For use as an ELISPOT capture antibody, a concentration range of 4-8 μg/ml is recommended. For ELISA capture applications, a concentration range of 1-4 μg/ml is recommended. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of IL-5 recombinant protein ranging from 500 to 4 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |

Ask a questionInhibit the creatinine kinase level in the blood of patients with tuberous sclerosis, reduce the inflammatory response, and improve the quality of life of patients.
IL5 can reduce the number of eosinophils in the nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis, reducing the symptoms of allergic reactions, such as sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion.
Stimulate the proliferation and differentiation of white blood cells, promote the function of the immune system, and is used to treat diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, nodular sclerosis and some malignant tumors.
Cause mild side effects such as headache, nausea, vomiting, and serious side effects such as allergic reactions if the dose is too large or allergic.
IL5 cannot be administered orally, only by injection or intravenous drip.
IL5 can reduce the number of eosinophils in the lungs of asthma patients, reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks, and improve the quality of life of patients.
