Mouse Anti-TNF Monoclonal Antibody

Cat.No.: DMABT-H19209
Product Overview: Mouse Anti-TNF Monoclonal Antibody
Antigen Description: TNF-alpha is secreted by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, T-cells (principally CD4+), and NK-cells. Many transformed cell lines also secrete TNF-alpha. Monomeric human TNF-alpha is a 157 amino acid protein (non-glycosylated) with a reported molecular weight of28kD. TNF-alpha forms multimeric complexes; stable trimers are most common in solution. A37kD membrane form of TNF-alpha has also been described. TNF-alpha binding to surface receptors elicits a wide array of biologic activities including: cytolysis and cytostasis of many tumor cell lines in vitro, hemorraghic necrosis of tumors in vivo, increased fibroblast proliferation, and enhanced chemotaxis and phagocytosis in neutrophils.
Target: TNF
Immunogen: E. coli-expressed, recombinant human TNF-alpha
Host: Mouse
Isotype: IgG1, kappa
species: Human
Conjugation: Alexa Fluor 488
Applications: N/A
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with Alexa Fluor 488 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor 488.
Usage recommendation: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 μl per 106cells in 100 μl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.* Alexa Fluor 488 has a maximum emission of 519 nm when it is excited at 488 nm.** Alexa Fluor is a registered trademark of Molecular Probes, Inc. Alexa Fluor dye antibody conjugates are sold under license from Molecular Probes, Inc. for research use only, except for use in combination with microarrays and high content screening, and are covered by pending and issued patents.View full statement regarding label licenses
Storage: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C and protected from prolonged exposure to light.Do not freeze.
