extracellular domain ( Met 1 - Thr 740 ) was fused with the C-terminal
polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus
Mouse angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, also known as
ACE-related carboxypeptidase, Angiotensin-converting enzyme homolog,
Metalloprotease MPROT15, ACEH and ACE2, is a single-pass type I membrane
protein which belongs to the peptidase M2 family. ACEH / ACE2 is identified
as a zinc metalloprotease structurally consisting of a Nterminal signal
peptide, a single catalytic domain, a C-terminal membrane anchor, and a short
cytoplasmic tail. ACEH / ACE2 is expressed in endothelial cells from small
and large arteries, and in arterial smooth muscle cells. It is expressed in
lung alveolar epithelial cells, enterocytes of the small intestine, Leydig
cells and Sertoli cells (at protein level). It is expressed in heart, kidney,
testis, and gastrointestinal system.

Predicted N terminal
The secreted recombinant mouse Ace2/Fc is a disulfide-linked
homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 971 amino acids and has a predicted
molecular mass of 112 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an
approximately 130 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Store it under sterile conditions at
-70℃ upon receiving. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities
for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
