Description
|
Diazyme Glucose-6-phosphate Dehydrogenase is extensively purified from microorganisms. The enzyme utilizes both NAD+ and NADP+ as co-factors. The enzyme is useful for the enzymatic assay of NAD+ or NADP+ and Glucose-6-phosphate, and activities of phosphoglucose isomerase, phosphoglucomutase and hexokinase.
D-Glucose-6-phosphate + NAD(P) → D-Glucono -lactone-6-phosphate + NAD(P)H2.
