• Description: AFP is a glycoprotein containing about 4% carbohydrate. AFP is produced by the fetal liver and is not normally expressed in adults.
• Source: Human fetal cord serum
• Format: Purified, Lyophilized. Reconstitute to 1mg/ml in 50mM Tris pH 7.5, 50mM ammonium bicarbonate pH 8.1 or PBS. Prior to reconstitution rap the bottom of the vial against a bench top to ensure all product is at the bottom of the vial. Allow the reconstitution buffer to equilibrate to room temperature before use. Allow the vial to sit without agitation for at least 5 minutes followed by vortexing at slow speed or gentle swirling.
• Contaminants: less than detectable limit of Albumin by SDS-PAGE.
• Purification: 80% pure (SDS-PAGE). Column chromatography
• Activity: 0.5mg/ml
• Buffer: Lyophilized from 1N PBS, pH 7.5
• Applications: Specific methodologies have not been tested using this product.
• Storage: Upon receipt, store at -20℃
