Description : alpha hCG subunit is a native alpha. The alpha subunit is identical to that of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). Levels of hCG are significantly increased during pregnancy and regularly monitored in blood. Assay are often used for the diagnosis and monitoring of tumors of the testis and of the ovary.
