Description : | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is one of the major mediators of the inflammatory response. This chemokine is secreted by several cell types. It functions as a chemoattractant, and is also a potent angiogenic factor. This gene is believed to play a role in the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis, a common respiratory tract disease caused by viral infection. This gene and other ten members of the CXC chemokine gene family form a chemokine gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 4q. |

Q&As (6)
Ask a questionActs as a chemical messenger in the immune system that regulates inflammation and attracts immune cells such as white blood cells.
Regulating tumor microenvironment, promoting tumor growth and metastasis, and can be used in tumor therapy research.
IL8 plays a role in regulating and promoting the migration and activation of inflammatory cells in the inflammatory response.
Can be used to treat inflammatory diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis), tumors (such as lung cancer, breast cancer) and other diseases.
Yes, IL8 is closely related to immunotherapy, which can enhance the role of the immune system and assist in the treatment of certain diseases.
IL8 is generally prepared by gene recombination technology, and the IL8 gene is introduced into the appropriate expression system, and then expressed and purified.
Customer Reviews (3)
Write a reviewIL8 has good fluorescence and absorption properties.
NIPBL has good stability in different environments and is not easy to degrade.
Through animal models or in vitro experiments to evaluate the mechanism of the recombinant protein in related diseases, we found that the effect is very good.
