Characteristics : Dextran G-10 is for small molecules. Its features are as follows:1. Quickly desalts, removes contaminants and transfers to a new buffer in a single step.2. Suitable for buffer exchange and cleanup of biological samples, for example peptides, small proteins, and oligosaccharides larger than 700 molecular weight3. Efficient removal of contaminants such as salts, dyes, and radioactive labels4. Lowest exclusion limit (700 molecular weight) in the Dextran G-range

Chemical stability : Dextran is stable in all commonly used aqueous buffers and additives such as ionic and non-ionic detergents, denaturing agents (8 M urea or 6 M guanidine hydrochloride). The media are stable in short chain alcohols such as ethanol, methanol and propanol, but concentrations above 25% should not normally be used. Note that Dextran shrinks in alcohol solutions.
pH working range : 2-13
Warning : Avoid changes in temperature which may cause air bubbles in the packing.
