Description : Antigen standard for suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) is a lysate prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. Protein concentration was determined using a colorimetric assay. The antigen control carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection.
Source : HEK 293 cells
Species : Human
Components : This product includes 3 vials: 1 vial of gene-specific cell lysate, 1 vial of control vector cell lysate, and 1 vial of loading buffer. Each lysate vial contains 0.1 mg lysate in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of RIPA Buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH7.5, 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1% NP40). The loading buffer vial contains 0.5 ml 2X SDS Loading Buffer (125 mM Tris-Cl, pH6.8, 10% glycerol, 4% SDS, 0.002% Bromophenol blue, 5% beta-mercaptoethanol).
Size : 0.1 mg
Storage Instruction : Store at -80°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. After addition of 2X SDS Loading Buffer, the lysates can be stored at -20°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
Applications : ELISA, WB, IP. WB: Mix equal volume of lysates with 2X SDS Loading Buffer. Boil the mixture for 10 min before loading (for membrane protein lysates, incubate the mixture at room temperature for 30 min). Load 5 ug lysate per lane.

Ask a question
What are the treatment strategies for SOCS3? 06/05/2023

Therapeutic strategies for SOCS3 can include regulating its expression level, blocking its interaction with other proteins, or regulating its associated signal transduction pathways. These approaches may have potential applications in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases, and certain cancers.

How about the relationship between the structure and function of SOCS3? 10/03/2022

The structure of SOCS3 determines its ability and stability to bind to other proteins. The study of its structure can help us understand its function and mechanism of action.

What is the specific role of SOCS3 in inflammatory diseases? 02/21/2022

In inflammatory diseases, SOCS3 may reduce the inflammatory response by inhibiting the production and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and promoting the expression of anti-inflammatory factors. It could be a potential target for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Does there have interactions of SOCS3 with other proteins? 01/13/2022

This protein can interact with a variety of other proteins, including JAK kinase, STAT transcription factors, etc. These interactions enable it to regulate processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis.

What factors should be considered in drug development for SOCS3? 12/15/2021

Drug development for SOCS3 requires consideration of its specificity, safety, pharmacokinetic properties, and potential side effects. In addition, issues such as the dosage form, route of administration and design of clinical trials need to be considered.

What is the main function of SOCS3 in the immune system? 10/23/2020

SOCS3 is primarily involved in immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory responses in the immune system. It can inhibit the production and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and promote the expression of anti-inflammatory factors, thereby reducing the inflammatory response.
