Description : Antigen standard for ADP-ribosylation factor-like 5B (ARL5B) is a lysate prepared from HEK293T cells transiently transfected with a TrueORF gene-carrying pCMV plasmid and then lysed in RIPA Buffer. Protein concentration was determined using a colorimetric assay. The antigen control carries a C-terminal Myc/DDK tag for detection.
Source : HEK 293 cells
Species : Human
Components : This product includes 3 vials: 1 vial of gene-specific cell lysate, 1 vial of control vector cell lysate, and 1 vial of loading buffer. Each lysate vial contains 0.1 mg lysate in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of RIPA Buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH7.5, 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1% NP40). The loading buffer vial contains 0.5 ml 2X SDS Loading Buffer (125 mM Tris-Cl, pH6.8, 10% glycerol, 4% SDS, 0.002% Bromophenol blue, 5% beta-mercaptoethanol).
Size : 0.1 mg
Storage Instruction : Store at -80°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. After addition of 2X SDS Loading Buffer, the lysates can be stored at -20°C. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
Applications : ELISA, WB, IP. WB: Mix equal volume of lysates with 2X SDS Loading Buffer. Boil the mixture for 10 min before loading (for membrane protein lysates, incubate the mixture at room temperature for 30 min). Load 5 ug lysate per lane.

Ask a question
Does ARL5B have any known interactions with other proteins or molecules? 10/27/2021

While the specific protein interactors of ARL5B are not yet fully elucidated, being a member of the ARL family indicates that it likely interacts with other proteins involved in vesicle trafficking and membrane dynamics within the cell.

Is ARL5B protein conserved across different species? 07/19/2019

Yes, ARL5B protein is evolutionarily conserved across different species, including mammals, suggesting its functional significance in various biological processes.

Are there any known post-translational modifications of ARL5B protein? 05/30/2019

Currently, there is limited information on post-translational modifications of ARL5B protein. Further research is needed to determine if ARL5B undergoes any modifications, such as phosphorylation or prenylation.

Can ARL5B be targeted therapeutically for any specific conditions? 05/22/2019

Currently, there are no known therapeutic targets or drugs specifically targeting ARL5B. Further understanding of its function and involvement in diseases is needed to explore its therapeutic potential.

Can dysregulation of ARL5B contribute to human diseases? 03/16/2019

The role of ARL5B in human diseases is currently unclear due to limited research. However, dysregulation of similar proteins involved in vesicle trafficking and membrane dynamics has been associated with various disorders, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.

Are there any animal models available to study ARL5B function or its role in disease? 07/19/2016

To the best of our knowledge, there are no animal models available specifically targeting ARL5B for studying its function or disease associations. More research is required to develop such models in order to investigate its specific roles.

Is ARL5B expression regulated in specific tissues or under certain conditions? 02/28/2016

Limited research has been conducted on the regulation of ARL5B expression. However, some studies suggest that ARL5B expression may be regulated in a tissue-specific manner or in response to specific stimuli. Further investigations are needed to fully understand its regulation.
