Cat. No. : |
GRN-113H |
Description : |
Granulin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GRN gene.Granulins are a family of secreted, glycosylated peptides that are cleaved from a single precursor protein with 7.5 repeats of a highly conserved 12-cysteine granulin/epithelin motif. Both the peptides and intact granulin protein regulate cell growth. However, different members of the granulin protein family may act as inhibitors, stimulators, or have dual actions on cell growth. Granulin family members are important in normal development, wound healing, and tumorigenesis. |

Formulation : |
Lyophilized 100μg human GRN in 50μl of TBS (20mM Tris, 50mM NaCl, pH8.0). Carry free. |
Purity : |
>95% by SDS gel. |
Application : |
Cell biology. |
Reconstitution : |
Add 500μl deionized water to the vial to prepare a working stock solution at 200μg/mL. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4℃, mix well. |
Storage : |
Store lyophilized protein at -20℃ or -70℃. Lyophilized protein is stable for up to 6 months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -70℃. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored at -20℃ for a few weeks or at -70℃ in a manual defrost freezer for long term storage (six months). Aliquot reconstituted protein to avoid repeated freezing / thawing cycles. |
