Description : NY-ESO-1, a member of the CT (cancer/testis) family, is a tumor-specific shared antigen with distinctive immunogenicity. The molecular basis of T cell-mediated antitumor immunity has been elucidated by the identification of a number of tumor antigens recognized by CD8+ T cells. Among these antigens, NY-ESO-1 is of particular interest because both the cytotoxic T lymphocyte and antibody have been shown to react with this antigen. The NY-ESO- 1 has been detected in normal testis and in a range of human tumor types. NY-ESO-1 reactivity in testis is restricted to germ cells, particularly in the spermatogonia.

Suggetsed Applications : ELISA, Inhibition Assays, Western Blotting. The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator.
Supplied As : GST-NY-ESO-1 fusion protein was purified from E.coli and packaged at 100μg/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA, 20% Glycerol.
Characterization : On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a band at 49kDa including GST.
Storage And Stability : Store vial at -20°C to -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months.
