Cat. No. : IGF1R-1631H
Description : Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) Receptor is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase that is frequently overexpressed by tumours, and mediates proliferation and apoptosis protection.IGF-1 receptor may be a central regulator of mammalian lifespan2 and when activated, it results in survival and proliferation in mitosis-competent cells, and growth (hypertrophy) in tissues such as skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle. IGF1R is now an attractive anti-cancer treatment target.
Source : Mammalian cells
State Of Matter : Lyophilized.
Purity : >95% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human IGF-I sR is Mr 81, 23, 104 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 150, 120, 48 kDa.
Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
