Cat. No. : Ghr-1792R
Description : Growth hormone receptor, also known as GHR is a transmembrane receptor for growth hormone. Binding of growth hormone to the receptor leads to receptor dimerization and the activation of an intra- and intercellular signal transduction pathway leading to growth. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Laron syndrome, also known as the growth hormone insensitivity syndrome (GHIS), a disorder characterized by short stature (proportional dwarfism).
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Rat GHR is Mr 55.1 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 65-80 kDa.
Source : Mammalian cells
State Of Matter : Lyophilized.
Purity : >90% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°Cto -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°Cto 8°Cfor one month or at -20°Cto -70°Cin a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.
