Cat. No. : IKBKB-760H
Description : IKKβ is the principal kinase responsible for phosphorylating IκBα, the regulatory subunit of NF-κB transcription factor. Phosphorylation of IκBα leads to its ubiquitination and proteasome degradation, which allows results in the rapid translocation of NF-κB to the nucleus and transcriptional activation of NF-κB-dependent genes.
Source : S.frugiperda.
Purity : ≥80% by SDS-PAGE.
Form : Liquid. In 50 mM L-Arg, 50 mM L-Glu, 50 mM NaCl, 20 mM HEPES, 2 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA, 50% glycerol, 0.03% BRIJ 35 Detergent, pH 7.5.
Specific Activity : ≥50 units/mg protein.
Unit Definition : One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will convert 1 nmol ATP to ADP per min per mg protein at 37°C.
Storage : ≤ -70℃. Avoid freeze/thaw.
Gene Name : IKBKB inhibitor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells, kinase beta [ Homo sapiens ]
