The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The V5 tag is usually used with all 14 amino acids, although it has also been used with a shorter 9 amino acid sequence.
0.1ml (dilute with pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody)
Anti-V5 Tag is a rabbit polyclonal antibody unconjugated. recognizes V5 tag on either the N- or C-terminus of any recombinant fusion protein; No other amino acids surrounding the V5 Tag sequence are required for the recognition of the V5 Tag. epitope mapping is V5 Tag peptide conjugated KLH; Use for Immunocytochemistry /IF, IP, WB.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user. Western blotting 1:100-500; Immunohistochemistry 1:100-500; ELISA 1:500-1000
Store at -20 ºC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20ºC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 ºC.
