Description : Alt a 1 is a lyophilized, recombinant protein with IgE-binding capacity. It was produced by heterologous expression in E. coli, purified by conventional biochemical methods.
Source : E. coli
Species : Alternaria alternata
Molecular Mass : ~14,593 Dalton
Purity : > 99%
Storage : The lyophilized product can be kept at room temperature for at least 2 weeks. However, we recommend the product to be stored at -20 centigrade. Under these conditions the quality of the material will be maintained for several years. The stability at 4 centigrade should at least be 6 months. Reconstituted protein can be stored at -20 centigrade.
Concentration : 1 mg/ml
Reconstitution : If reconstituted with water or diluted buffer to a concentration of 1 mg/ml, the PO4 buffer concentration will be 2 mM (pH 7.4). Addition of 1-2 mM -Mercaptoethanole is recommended. If reconstituted to a concentration of 2mg/ml, the product is soluble to more than 95%.

What is the subcellular localization of ALTA1, and how does it change in response to cellular cues or environmental stimuli? 05/09/2022

ALTA1 localizes to specific cellular compartments, such as the nucleus, cytoplasm, or membrane structures, and its localization can be dynamically regulated in response to cellular signals or environmental cues.

What are the downstream signaling pathways or molecular targets regulated by ALTA1, and how do they contribute to its biological functions? 11/03/2021

ALTA1 regulates downstream signaling pathways, such as MAPK, PI3K/Akt, or Wnt signaling, influencing cellular processes like proliferation, differentiation, or survival.

What is the expression pattern of ALTA1 in different tissues or cell types, and how is it regulated under normal physiological conditions? 03/31/2020

ALTA1 exhibits a specific expression pattern, with varying levels in different tissues or cell types, and its expression is regulated by transcription factors, signaling pathways, or environmental cues.

Can ALTA1 be targeted with small molecules or biologics to modulate its activity or expression, and what are the potential therapeutic applications? 11/24/2019

ALTA1 can be targeted with small molecules or biologics, such as inhibitors, agonists, or antibodies, to modulate its activity or expression, offering potential therapeutic avenues for diseases related to its dysfunction.

How is ALTA1 post-translationally modified, and how do these modifications impact its localization, stability, or activity? 11/12/2019

ALTA1 undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, acetylation, or ubiquitination, which regulate its subcellular localization, stability, or interaction with other proteins.

How does genetic variation or mutation in ALTA1 affect its function, and what are the implications for disease susceptibility or progression? 03/17/2018

Genetic variations or mutations in ALTA1 can disrupt its enzymatic activity, protein-protein interactions, or subcellular localization, potentially contributing to disease susceptibility or altered cellular functions.

How does ALTA1 interact with other proteins or molecules, and what are the functional consequences of these interactions? 03/31/2017

ALTA1 interacts with specific proteins or molecules, forming protein complexes or signaling complexes that modulate cellular processes, such as gene expression, signal transduction, or metabolism.

What are the enzymatic activities or catalytic properties of ALTA1, and how do they contribute to specific cellular processes or metabolic pathways? 03/06/2017

ALTA1 possesses specific enzymatic activities, such as kinase, phosphatase, or transferase activity, contributing to cellular processes such as phosphorylation, dephosphorylation, or metabolic transformations.

Can the three-dimensional structure of ALTA1 be determined to gain insights into its folding, stability, and interaction interfaces? 01/22/2017

Determining the three-dimensional structure of ALTA1 provides insights into its folding, stability, and the regions involved in protein-protein or protein-molecule interactions.

How does the loss or overexpression of ALTA1 in model organisms or cell lines affect cellular phenotypes, physiological processes, or disease development? 01/01/2017

Manipulating ALTA1 expression or function in model organisms or cell lines provides insights into its role in cellular phenotypes, physiological processes, or disease-related mechanisms.
