Source : | HEK293 |
Species : | Human |
Tag : | His |
Form : | Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4 |
Bio-activity : | 1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human IL4R-His at 10 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind biotinylated human IL4. The EC50 of biotinylated human IL4 is 20.8-48.5 ng/mL. 2. Measured by its ability to inhibit IL-4 dependent proliferation of TF-1 human erthroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 2-10 ng/mL in the presence of 0.2 ng/ml IL-4. |
Molecular Mass : | The secreted recombinant human IL4R consists of 218 amino acids after cleavage of the signal peptide and predictes a molecular mass of 25.18 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, it migrates with the apparent molecular mass of 43-48 kDa due to glycosylation. |
Protein Length : | Met 1-His 232 |
Endotoxin : | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method |
Purity : | > 98 % as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Storage : | Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution : | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |

Q&As (6)
Ask a questionIL4R is a synthetic protein that mimics the IL-4 signaling pathway in nature and binds to the IL-4 receptor in cells, which can be used to study the IL-4 signaling pathway and related diseases.
Common IL4R production technologies include prokaryotic expression systems and mammalian cell expression systems.
This protein is used in tumor immunotherapy, which can promote anti-tumor immune response and enhance the anti-tumor effect of cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
It is mainly used in immunology, drug research and other fields. It is also widely used in vaccines, biotechnology, cancer treatment and so on.
IL4R is used to treat severe pheochromocytome-induced aerodoritis and was approved by the FDA as the first drug to treat this disease.
IL4R cannot generally be administered orally, and needs to be administered by injection or intravenous drip.
