Product overview : | Recombinant Human MBL2 (P11226) aa. (Leu130~Ile248) fused with His & GST tag was produced in E. coli cells. |
Description : | This gene encodes the soluble mannose-binding lectin or mannose-binding protein found in serum. The protein encoded belongs to the collectin family and is an important element in the innate immune system. The protein recognizes mannose and N-acetylglucosamine on many microorganisms, and is capable of activating the classical complement pathway. Deficiencies of this gene have been associated with susceptibility to autoimmune and infectious diseases. |
Source : | E. coli |
Species : | Human |
Tag : | His & GST |
Form : | Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : | Predicted Molecular Mass: 43kDa; Accurate Molecular Mass: 43kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions. |
Protein length : | Leu130~Ile248 |
Endotoxin : | <1.0EU per 1ug (determined by the LAL method) |
