SDHB
-
Official Full Name
succinate dehydrogenase complex, subunit B, iron sulfur (Ip)
-
Overview
Flavoprotein subunit of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) that is involved in complex II of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and is responsible for transferring electrons from succinate to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q). -

SDHB has several biochemical functions, for example, 2 iron, 2 sulfur cluster binding, 3 iron, 4 sulfur cluster binding, 4 iron, 4 sulfur cluster binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by SDHB itself. We selected most functions SDHB had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with SDHB. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
