Recombinant Human Sulfotransferase Family, Cytosolic, 2A, Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)-Preferring, Member 1, His-tagged

Cat. No.: SULT2A1-1782H
Product Overview: Recombinant humanSULT2A1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli andpurified by using conventional chromatography.
Description: SULT2A1, also knowndehydroepiandrosterone sulphotransferase, belongs to the sulfotransferasefamily. This protein is mainly expressed in liver and adrenal tissues, and toa lesser extent in kidney. It catalyzes the 3"-phosphoadenosine5"-phosphosulfate-dependent sulfation of a wide variety of steroids in humanliver and adrenal tissues, and is also responsible for most of the sulfationof bile acids in human liver.
