Description : Protirelinstimulates the secretion of pituitary thyroid stimulating hormone from theanterior pituitary and has been shown that protirelin increases secretion ofprolactin. Protirelin is identified as 5-oxo-L-prolyl-L-histidyl-L-prolineamide. It is a synthetic tripeptide that is believed to be structurallyidentical to the naturally-occurring thyrotropin-releasing hormone producedby the hypothalamus Human TRH C16H22N6O4 has a MW of 362.39 Da.
