Recombinant Mouse Chemokine (C-X-C motif) Ligand 14

Cat. No.: Cxcl14-388M
Product Overview: Recombinantmouse Cxcl14 protein was expressed in E. coli. Ser23-Glu99.
Description: Cxcl14, also namedMIP2 gamma, KEC (kidney expressed chemokine), and BMAC (B cell andmonocyteactivating chemokine), is a member of the CXC chemokine superfamily. Thededuced 99 amino acid (aa) residue precursor has a 22 aa putative signalpeptide that is cleaved to produce the 77 aa mature protein. Mature human andmouse Cxcl14 differ by only 2 residues. Mouse Cxcl14 shares approximately 30%aa sequence identity with mouse MIP2. Unlike MIP2, Cxcl14 lacks the ELRdomain preceding the CXC motif.
Source: E. coli
Form: Supplied as a 0.2 μmfiltered solution in PBS.
N-terminal Sequence: Ser23
Molecular Weight: 9.4 kDa
Activity: Measured by itsability to induce calcium flux of prostaglandin E2 treated THP1 human acutemonocytic leukemia cells. 0.5 μg/mL of rmCxcl14 can significantly inducecalcium flux.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Storage: Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
