Cat. No. : EFNA3-3812H
Description : EFNA3 receptors comprise the largest subfamily of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases (RTKs), and have been involved in a variety of biological processes, especially in the nervous system and in erythropoiesis, such as axon guidance and topographic map formation, synaptic plasticity, angiogenesis, and meanwhile have possible contributions to tumor growth and metastasis.
Source : Human
Host : Human Cells
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4, Normally 5%-8% trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.
Purity : > 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Bio-activity : Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse EphA6 at 1 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind human EFNA3 Chimera. The EC50 of human EFNA3 is 299.2 ng/Ml.
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Stability : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70°C.
Predicted N terminal : Gln 23
Molecular Mass : The recombinant human EFNA3 is a disulfide-linked homodimer after removal of the signal peptide. The reduced monomer consists of 429 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 48 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rh EFNA3 monomer is approximately 60-65 kDa due to glycosylation.
Storage : Store it under sterile conditions at -70°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Gene Name : EFNA3 ephrin-A3 [ Homo sapiens ]
Official Symbol : EFNA3
Synonyms : EFNA3; ephrin-A3; EFL2; EPLG3; LERK3; Ehk1-L; EFL-2; LERK-3; EHK1 ligand; OTTHUMP00000033243; OTTHUMP00000219768; ligand of eph-related kinase 3; eph-related receptor tyrosine kinase ligand 3
Gene ID : 1944
mRNA Refseq : NM_004952
Protein Refseq : NP_004943
MIM : 601381
UniProt ID : P52797
Chromosome Location : 1q21-q22
Pathway : Axon guidance; EPHA forward signaling
Function : ephrin receptor binding; transmembrane-ephrin receptor activity
