Recombinant Human Complement Component 5a Receptor 1

Cat. No.: C5AR1-4910H
Product Overview: Recombinant human C5AR1 containing was expressed in E. coli.
Description: C5AR1 is a potent chemotactic factor for human peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes, and is believed to play an important role in a number of inflammatory conditions. The 74 amino acid, human C5AR1 protein expressed in E. coli has an activity similar to that of serum derived C5AR1 based on enzyme assay of myeloperoxidase release.
Biological Activity: Human recombinant C5a is as active as that of serum derived C5a based on enzyme release assay of myeloperoxidase. The current lot of ED₅₀ = 1.36 nmolar.
Molecular Weight: 74 amino acids.
Source: E. coli
Species: Human
Form: Lyophilized without additives.
Appearance: Lyophilized protein
Endotoxin Level: <0.1 ng/μg
Reconstitution: Reconstitute to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml in ice-cold water containing 2.5 mg/ml BSA. The solution should be aliquoted and immediately stored at -70°C for future use. Frozen/thaw will result in some loss of activity.
