Recombinant Mouse Placental Growth Factor

Cat. No.: Pgf-606M
Product Overview: Recombinant human Pgf is a 32.6 kDa homodimeric protein consisting of two 142 amino acid polypeptide chains.
Description: Pgf is an angiogenic factor that belongs to the cysteine-knot superfamily of growth factors. Pgf is expressed in placental tissues, colon and mammary carcinomas. It signals through the VEGFR-1/FLT1 receptor and stimulates endothelial cell proliferation and migration.
Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes of using a concentration range of 0.5-10 ng/ml.
Molecular Weight: 32.6 kDa
Source: E. coli
Species: Mouse
Form: Sterile filtered and lyophilized without additives.
Endotoxin Level: <0.1 ng/μg
Appearance: Lyophilized protein
Reconstitution: Reconstitute the protein in sterile 20 mM acetic acid to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 μg/μl. The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffer.
Purity: >98% by SDS-PAGE and ≥95% by HPLC
Storage: The lyophilized protein is best-stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted protein should be stored at working aliquots at -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HAS or BSA). Prevent freeze/thaw cycles.
