Ask a question
What are the potential side effects of targeting ERBB3 in cancer therapy? 03/08/2023

Potential side effects may include skin rash, diarrhea, and cardiovascular issues, as seen with other drugs targeting the EGFR family.

How does ERBB3 contribute to resistance to certain cancer therapies? 01/29/2023

ERBB3 activation has been associated with resistance to some targeted therapies, such as EGFR inhibitors, making it a challenging target in cancer treatment.

How does ERBB3 interact with other receptors in the EGFR family? 11/07/2022

ERBB3 can form heterodimers with other EGFR family members, such as EGFR and HER2, leading to the activation of downstream signaling pathways.

Can ERBB3 be used as a biomarker for prognosis in cancer patients? 10/26/2022

Yes, elevated ERBB3 expression has been linked to poor prognosis in certain cancers, serving as a potential biomarker for patient outcomes.

In which types of cancers is ERBB3 commonly overexpressed? 10/19/2020

ERBB3 overexpression is frequently observed in breast, ovarian, and gastric cancers, among others.
