Description : | Interleukin-5 (IL-5), produced by mast cells, T cells and eosinophils, is responsible for the activities attributed to eosinophil differentiating factor, B cell growth factor II and T cell-replacing factor (TRF). It can increase production and mobilization of eosinophils and CD34+ progenitors from the bone marrow. IL-5 plays an important role in inducing cell-mediated immunity against parasitic infections and certain tumors. IL-5 also promotes differentiation of basophils and primes them for histamine and leukotriene release.Recombinant Human IL-5 is homodimeric protein with molecular weight ranging from 29 to 35 kDa due to glycosylation. |

Ask a questionInhibit the creatinine kinase level in the blood of patients with tuberous sclerosis, reduce the inflammatory response, and improve the quality of life of patients.
IL5 can reduce the number of eosinophils in the nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis, reducing the symptoms of allergic reactions, such as sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion.
Stimulate the proliferation and differentiation of white blood cells, promote the function of the immune system, and is used to treat diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, nodular sclerosis and some malignant tumors.
Cause mild side effects such as headache, nausea, vomiting, and serious side effects such as allergic reactions if the dose is too large or allergic.
IL5 cannot be administered orally, only by injection or intravenous drip.
IL5 can reduce the number of eosinophils in the lungs of asthma patients, reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks, and improve the quality of life of patients.
