Description : Exostosin-Like 3 (EXTL3) is a single-pass type II membrane protein that belongs to the Glycosyltransferase 47 family. EXTL3 is found in the endoplasmic reticulum. EXTL3 is involved in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate proteoglycans and Glycan metabolism. Mutations of EXTL proteins are associated with the development of multiple exostoses (benign bone growths) and cancer.
