Recombinant Human glycoprotein Ibα, His-tagged, non-sulfated

Cat.No. : GP1BA-19H
Product Overview : Recombinant human GP1BA, fused with an C-terminal hexahistidine tag, was expressed in HEK293-EBNA1 cells. In the native protein the tyrosine residues at positions 292, 294 and 295 are sulfated. In this product none of the three tyrosines are sulfated.

Description : Glycoprotein Ibα is part of the platelet receptor Glycoprotein Ib-XI-V complex. The Glycoprotein Ib-XI-V complex mediates binding of platelets to sites of vascular damage. This product consists of residues 17-306 of glycoprotein Ibα and contains the binding sites for Von Willebrand Factor, thrombin and botrocetin. The two N-linked glycoslation sites , Asn37 and Asn175, have been removed by mutation to glutamine.
Source : HEK293-EBNA1 cells
Species : Human
Tag : His
Form : PBS without preservative.
Molecular Mass : The calculated molecular weight of recombinant human GpIbα, residues 17-306, is 33.5 kDa.
AA Sequence : Residues 17-306
