Recombinant Human Ubiquitin Carboxyl-terminal Esterase L1 (Ubiquitin Thiolesterase)

Cat. No.: UCHL1-181H
Product Overview: Recombinant PGP9.5 protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques (223 aa, 24.8 kDa).
Description: PGP9.5/UCH-L1 is a member of a gene family whose products hydrolyze small C-terminal adducts of ubiquitin to generate the ubiquitin monomer. PGP9.5 is a component of the ubiquitin system, which has a fundamental role in regulating various biological activities. PGP9.5 gene encodes two opposing enzymatic activities that affect alpha-synuclein degradation and Parkinson"s disease susceptibility.
Source: Escherichia Coli.
Formulation: Liquid. In 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 2 mM EDTA.
Molecular Weight: 24.8 kDa (223 aa) (Real molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will be shift up).
Purity: > 95% by SDS – PAGE.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay).
