||Recombinant rat IP-10 produced inE.coliis an 8.6 kDa protein consisting of 77 amino acids including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines.
||IP-10 is a CXC chemokine that signals through the CXCR3 receptor. IP-10 selectivelychemoattracts Th1 lymphocytes and monocytes, and inhibits cytokine-stimulated hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. Additionally, it is angiostatic and mitogenic for vascular smooth muscle cells.
||Greater than 98% (determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis).
||< 0.1 ng per μg of rRa IP-10 (1EU/μg).
||Determined by its ability to chemoattract hCXCR3/HEK293 cells using a concentration range of 10.0-50.0 ng/ml.
||Lyophilized from a sterile-filtered solution with no additives.
||Please Note: Always centrifuge product before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted with distilled, sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. For further dilution, carrier protein (0.1% BSA or HSA) should be added to avoid loss of bioactivity.
|Storage & Stability:
||The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted CTACK should be used immediately or stored in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
