Recombinant Human CXCL12

Cat.No.: CXCL12-31388TH
Product Overview: Recombinant Full length Human SDF1 beta; 72 amino acids, 8,526 kDa.
Description: This gene encodes a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine member of the intercrine family. This gene product and its receptor CXCR4 can activate lymphocytes and have been implicated in the metastasis of some cancers such as breast cancer. Mutations in this gene are associated with resistance to human immunodeficiency virus type 1 infections. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Source: E. coli
Biological activity: Biological Activity:CXCL12-31388TH is fully biologically active when compared to standard. Activity is determined by the ability to chemoattract human peripheral T cells stimulated with IL2 and PHA in a concentration range from 10-75 ng/ml.
Form: Lyophilised:Reconstitute with sterile water at a concentration range of 0.1 to 1.0 mg/ml.Upon reconstitution the product should be aliquoted and stored at below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE
Storage buffer: Preservative: None
Storage: Store at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C
