Recombinant Human CXCL13

Cat.No.: CXCL13-26649TH
Product Overview: Highly pure (>98%) recombinant human BCA1.
Description: B lymphocyte chemoattractant, independently cloned and named Angie, is a CXC chemokine strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyers patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (compared to T cells and macrophages), apparently by stimulating calcium influx into, and chemotaxis of, cells expressing Burkitts lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1). It may therefore function in the homing of B lymphocytes to follicles.
Source: E. coli
Tissue specificity: Highest levels in liver, followed by spleen, lymph node, appendix and stomach. Low levels in salivary gland, mammary gland and fetal spleen.
Form: Lyophilised
Storage: Store at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
Sequences of amino acids: hBCA-1 is a 10.1 kDa protein consisting of 85 amino acid residues.:EVYYTSLRCRCVQESSVFIPRRFIDRIQILPRGNGCPRKEIIVWKKNKSIVCVDPQAEWI QRMMEVLRKRSSSTLPVPVFKRKIP
