||WNT1 inducible signaling pathway protein 1, also known as WISP1 is a cysteine-rich, secreted factor belonging to the CCN family which is associated with the extracellular matrix, and can interact with cellular integrins. WISP-1 promotes mesenchymal cell proliferation and osteoblastic differentiation while repressing chondrocytic differentiation. Therefore, WISP-1 plays an important regulatory role during bone development and fracture repair. WISP1 can also contribute to tumorigenesis.
|State Of Matter:
||>90% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
||<1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
||The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human WISP-1 is Mr 39.3 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 62 kDa.
|Storage And Stability:
||This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
