Recombinant Bovine Chemokine (C-C motif) Ligand 2

Cat. No.: CCL2-131B
Product Overview: Recombinant Bovine CCL2 protein was expressed inYeastand purified by using Ion-exchange chromatography, 8.8 kDa (76 aa).
Description: Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1). CCL2 recruits monocytes, memory T cells, and dendritic cells to sites of tissue injury and infection. This chemokine is produced as a protein precursor containing signal peptide of 23 amino acids and a mature peptide of 76 amino acids.
Source: Yeast.
Formulation/ Reconstitution: Lyophilized. Reconstitute with sterile phosphate-buffered saline containing at least 0.1% carrier protein.
Purity: >95% as visualized by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Purification: Ion-exchange chromatography.
Biological activity: In testing.
Storage: Stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C. Stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Pathways: Chemokine signaling pathway; Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction; NOD-like receptor signaling pathway
