| Bio-activity : |
Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. When 5 × 10E4 cells/well are added to mCD4-His coated plates (0.2μg/mL and 100μL/well), approximately 30% will adhere specifically after 30 minutes at 37°C. |

The recombinant mouse CD4 consists of 379 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 42.8 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rmCD4 is approximately 50-55 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. |

It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
