Molecular Mass: The secreted recombinant influenza A H13N8 HA (A/black-headed gull/Netherlands/1/00 (H13N8)) comprises 521 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 58.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 60-70 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity: >95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage: Store it under sterile conditions at -20ºC~-70ºC. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.25 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
