Description :
Human CXCL13, also known as beta cell attracting chemokine (BCA-1) or beta cell ligand (BCL), is the ligand for the G protein coupled receptor CXCR5. CXCL13 is strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyer's patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes over T cells and macrophages.
