EXT1 has several biochemical functions, for example, N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-beta-glucuronosyltransferase activity, acetylglucosaminyltransferase activity, glucuronosyl-N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-alpha-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase activity.
