Protein Function

NKX6-2 has several biochemical functions, for example, RNA polymerase II core promoter proximal region sequence-specific DNA binding, transcription factor activity, sequence-specific DNA binding, transcriptional repressor activity, RNA polymerase II core promoter proximal region sequence-specific binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by NKX6-2 itself.
